Emily and Brad had an incredible Elopement. The calm and slowness of the day allowed for space to enjoy and treasure every moment. From their little niece’s giggles, to the gorgeous landscape and ever changing weather there we’re plenty of memories to capture and preserve for a lifetime.

Their wedding video includes the entire day, from getting ready and letter reading to the ceremony, dinner, speeches and dances. The day ended with the couple enjoying some time alone and a beautiful sunset on Lake Superior. It was a perfect day.

We were truly blessed to be a part of Emily and Brad’s day. Their love for each other and their family was evident through out the entire day especially during the speeches and dances!! Your heart will burst!

We were also blown away by the location and weather. Scattered showers, wind, the sun gleaming through the clouds and a spectacularly colorful sunset provided a beauty only Northern Minnesota and Lake Superior could provide. It was just too good!

HOW DID YOU GUYS MEET?

We met on Bumble December 2021. We talked everyday for two months and I finally bought a one way ticket to Phoenix! On February 19th 2022, we finally got to see each other! Best day ever!

WHY DO YOU WANT US TO CAPTURE YOUR WEDDING DAY?

You guys seem so unique with your work! It was so easy talking to Jessica on the phone!!

We want to look back on this videos for years and show our future kids. I think we are going to have the same emotions that we did have on our wedding day!

TELL US ABOUT THE PROPOSAL (EVERY DETAIL)

The weekend of Easter 2024 my parents came into town. We currently live in DC. My parents are from Kansas City. The week of Easter the cherry blossoms were in full bloom! They were so beautiful! I told my parents that would be a great idea to go out and see the cherry blossoms. March 30th, we got up super early and we headed down to the cherry blossoms around the Tidal Basin. A week before the proposal..I could tell something was up! So we started walking towards the Tidal Basin and we saw our friends with a camera…that was a dead giveaway!! Brad literally had no time left and he got on one knee and asked me to marry him! And I said yes!!

WHEN YOU’RE NOT IN FULL WEDDING MODE, WHAT DO YOU DO?

Brad is in the military and I currently work for Bath and Body works. Our ideal day is to have a slow morning with some coffee, run some errands, workout together and cook dinner together. That might sound boring! Brad has really long days in the military. So he takes any day he can to just slow down!

WHY DID YOU CHOOSE (LOCATION) FOR YOUR WEDDING VENUE?

The huge deck at this Airbnb facing Lake Superior. The ceremony will be on this deck! Hopefully the weather will cooperate!

TELL ME ABOUT YOUR VISION FOR YOUR WEDDING DAY ITSELF.

I want the day to go by as chill as possible! It is a small but intimate wedding! Only 16 people will attend this wedding including us. The colors will be dusty blue and sage green! My dress is actually altered to fit me. I did my own alterations. I can’t wait to show everyone!

IS THERE A HONEYMOON PLANNED?

The honeymoon will be next summer. We are talking about Greece and France! Brad will be deployed for 6 months starting in the fall.

WHERE DO YOU SEE YOURSELVES IN 10 YEARS TIME?

We will probably be back in Minnesota with hopefully three kids and enjoying life together!
