Kali and Tom’s wedding day was a full-on celebration of the couple. They were both surrounded by an amazing crew of friends and family who repeatedly showed their excitement and support. But everything paled to the love that had grown between Tom and Kali through the years.

Their wedding highlight film follows Kali and Tom as they get ready for the day, have their first look and some couple time, commit their lives to each other at the ceremony, and party at the reception.

We had a wonderful time capturing their wedding day and all the joy brought on by their love. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of it!

Met through friends in college.

WHY DO YOU WANT US TO CAPTURE YOUR WEDDING DAY?

We want these memories to look back on for the rest of our lives and be a statement for us and our life together.

TELL US ABOUT THE PROPOSAL (EVERY DETAIL)

We could show pictures! Work trip to Austin TX for Kali’s work and Tom tagged along. We had the fancy outfits planned for NYE and he convinced me to dress up the night before where it wasn’t going to be busy. As we were leaving the hotel we stopped on the rooftop. Tom had a photographer hiding (sitting with strangers), there were chocolate-covered strawberries and a bottle of champagne in the corner as the sun was setting over the river and he asked me to marry him. It was so good we haven’t needed to do engagement photos because those photos were perfect. He also had a custom ring that I helped design two years before that totally surprised me.

WHEN YOU’RE NOT IN FULL WEDDING MODE, WHAT DO YOU DO?

Tom changed jobs and now works for his family’s construction company which has him living on the road last year he was in North Carolina on a military base demolishing buildings.

Kali always has two jobs, usually a full-time professional marketing/event coordination gig currently with a software company. She is currently also a special events coordinator for a company with Duluth and enjoys planning and managing weddings mainly, prior to that she was a cheerleader for the Vikings for 7 years.

WHY DID YOU CHOOSE THE MALTING BUILDING FOR YOUR WEDDING VENUE?

It was close to his parents where we are getting married and we loved the space, size, and location.

TELL ME ABOUT YOUR VISION FOR YOUR WEDDING DAY ITSELF.

We want to have a great flow to the day. Kali being a planner and perfectionist has a better image of this than Tom but I want to have a day to showcase how much each of us loves each other and how over the last 8 years what we’ve created is truly real and beautiful and strong. We’ve lived apart we’ve moved several times, we changed jobs, lost jobs, reinvented ourselves. We are excited to start this next chapter of our lives and want this day to be a fun, memorable, beautiful send-off.

IS THERE A HONEYMOON PLANNED?

We would like to go to Greece or Italy.

WHERE DO YOU SEE YOURSELVES IN 10 YEARS TIME?

Kids, working, summer weekends at our cabin in Gordon WI, spring break in Florida with family on the beach, full year of sports and activities for the kids and building our businesses and lives together.
